Digital Globalization and Intercultural Transmission Processes in Education

Abstract

Abstract (English) This study attempts to reveal how digital globalization shapes intercultural transfer processes in education. The study conceptually examines digital globalization and intercultural transfer. The importance of intercultural transfer is emphasized within the framework of knowledge, value, norm, and experience dimensions, and the problems encountered in this process, including language barriers, cultural prejudices, the digital divide, and pedagogical deficiencies, are discussed. International student exchange programs, digital collaborative projects, and intercultural curricula, as implemented in different countries, are discussed within the context of intercultural transfer. The effects of digital globalization are discussed in the context of rapid access to information, virtual interaction, pedagogical innovations, and experience-based learning. Considering the current situation, it is anticipated that the importance of intercultural transfer will increase in the future with technological tools and experiential learning methods. The study examines the concrete effects of digital globalization on intercultural transfer processes and offers suggestions for more qualified intercultural transfer processes. Specifically, predictions are shared regarding the path and direction of intercultural transfer in education within the context of digital globalization. Abstract (Turkish) Bu araştırmada dijital küreselleşmenin, eğitimdeki kültürler arası aktarım süreçlerini nasıl şekillendirdiği ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır.
