
This article discusses the significance of culturally responsive teaching (CRT) in Uzbekistan’s diverse educational landscape. As classrooms increasingly include students from different ethnic, linguistic, and cultural backgrounds, the need for teaching approaches that respect and incorporate learners’ identities becomes essential. The article explains the core ideas of CRT, its relevance within Uzbekistan’s current educational reforms, and its impact on motivation and academic success. Drawing on international and local research, it argues that culturally responsive teaching is not only an inclusive method but also a necessary direction for improving learning outcomes in a multilingual society.
