CRESCIMENTO INTEGRAL DA IGREJA: PERSPECTIVAS CONCEITUAIS

Abstract

O presente artigo aborda o tema do crescimento integral da Igreja a partir de uma perspectiva teológico-pastoral, destacando que esse crescimento não se limita ao aumento numérico, mas envolve o fortalecimento espiritual, comunitário e missional. São apresentadas dimensões do crescimento integral — espiritual, comunitária e missional — que, quando equilibradas, promovem uma Igreja saudável, dinâmica e relevante. O texto também discute diferentes enfoques teóricos sobre crescimento e missão integral, citando autores como McGavran, Padilla, Winter e Costas, que apresentam categorias variadas de crescimento e missão. Além disso, resgata os modelos bíblicos de Jesus e da igreja primitiva em Jerusalém como exemplos históricos do crescimento integral. O artigo enfatiza ainda a importância da missão integral que abarca ação evangelística, responsabilidade social e serviço comunitário, sustentando que uma Igreja verdadeiramente integral cultiva uma fé encarnada que atende às necessidades espirituais e sociais das pessoas e comunidades, seguindo o exemplo de Cristo.
