Abstract

La obra Cuidados de enfermería y la felicidad: Perspectiva del personal de atención, publicada por Editorial Kuntur, constituye un aporte académico sustancial que redefine el paradigma de la gestión sanitaria al posicionar el bienestar eudemónico del profesional de enfermería no como un accesorio, sino como un indicador crítico de la calidad asistencial y la sostenibilidad del sistema de salud. A través de una articulación rigurosa entre la fenomenología hermenéutica, los principios de la psicología positiva y el modelo de adquisición de competencias de Patricia Benner, los autores trascienden la visión tecnicista tradicional para proponer un modelo de "Práctica Positiva de Enfermería" que vincula directamente la realización personal del cuidador con la seguridad del paciente. El texto adquiere una relevancia pragmática al complementar su base teórica con un estudio empírico realizado en el contexto hospitalario peruano, el cual demuestra estadísticamente que la calidad del cuidado enfermero es un predictor significativo de la felicidad del personal, ofreciendo así una hoja de ruta indispensable para líderes y gestores de salud interesados en optimizar el capital humano y mitigar el burnout mediante estrategias de liderazgo transformacional y estabilidad laboral.
