This is a curated and expanded dataset, derived from the official mortality sources in Mexico (Open Mortality Data [PONER LINK]), covering from 2000 to 2024. The dataset contains spatial records from national, state, and municipal levels of Mexico. Furthermore, it has variables of interest such as the ICD-10 code, age group, and gender, thereby providing several measures including death count, crude mortality rate, and age-standardized mortality rate (calculated by using the Direct Method) to facilitate different perspectives of records.
