NEFI Innovation Hub: Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (Poster)

Abstract

Die NEFI Innovation Hubs sind spezialisierte Netzwerke, geleitet von angesehenen Forschungseinrichtungen. Ihr Ziel ist es, hochrelevante Forschungs- und Innovationsprojekte zu initiieren, die den Übergang zu einer klimaneutralen Industrie unterstützen und Österreich als Technologieführer im Bereich erneuerbarer Energien und Industrieinnovationen etablieren. Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) umfasst Technologien zur Abscheidung, Speicherung und idealerweise Wiederverwertung erheblicher Mengen an CO2 aus Produktionsprozessen. Besonders in Industriebereichen, in denen sich CO2-Emissionen nicht vollständig allein durch den Einsatz erneuerbarer Energieträger vermeiden lassen, kommt ihnen eine entscheidende Rolle zu.
