Abstract

En España, la Administración Tributaria apuesta firmemente por el uso de la Inteligencia de Artificial como herramienta para la consecución de mejoras en el cumplimiento voluntario de las obligaciones fiscales y en la prevención y lucha contra el fraude, como objetivos fundamentales de sus actuaciones. La Administración Tributaria dispone de herramientas basadas en Big Data y la denominada Inteligencia Artificial que, al margen de permitir un mejor y mayor asesoramiento a los contribuyentes, con idea de reducir los procedimientos tributarios y disminuir los márgenes de error, facilita el cumplimiento de sus obligaciones fiscales y permite analizar y prevenir riesgos de incumplimiento. El objetivo final del Big Data es extraer valor de toda la información almacenada, a través de distintos procesos, de manera eficiente y con el coste más bajo posible. En este contexto, la función del área de Compliance de una empresa consiste en anticiparse a los riesgos que pueden surgir, mostrando al equipo gestor que el cumplimiento no es solo un coste necesario para hacer negocios, sino una posición estratégica que aporta valor social y afianza el futuro de la organización. Y todo ello, de la mano de la Administración Tributaria, en una relación cooperativa basada en una estrategia de Compliance by Design.
