Infection prevention and control (IPC) is a practical, evidence-based approach which prevents patients and health workers from being harmed by avoidable infections. Infectious diseases creates an enormous burden on the economy and individuals by prolonging their stay in hospitals. It is essential that no patient gets an infection while receiving healthcare and as such necessary to access the knowledge and perspective of nursing students on infectious disease prevention and control. This study aimed at gathering information from KNUST nursing students on their knowledge and perspective of infectious and disease prevention.
