Abstract

Zusammenfassung der wichtigsten Erkenntnisse aus der ersten Phase des Forschungsprogramms CDRterra Bei CDRterra untersuchten mehr als 100 Wissenschaftler:innen in den zurückliegenden vier Jahren, in welchem Umfang CO₂-Entnahmemethoden (Carbon Dioxide Removal, CDR) an Land dazu beitragen können, dass Deutschland seine Klimaziele erreicht. Zehn interdisziplinäre Konsortien erforschten hierzu Potenziale, Herausforderungen und gesellschaftliche Auswirkungen bekannter und neuer CO2-Entnahmeverfahren und erarbeiteten Vorschläge für politische Strategien zur Umsetzung. Das Factsheet "Potenziale und Risiken der landbasierten CO2-Entnahme in Deutschland: was wir jetzt wissen – und was zu tun ist" bündet die zentralen Ergebnisse der ersten Programmphase. Diese Zusammefassung des Factsheets gibt Medien und der interessierten Fachöffentlichkeit einen kurzen Überblick über die Ergebnisse.
