
This article presents a proposal for the revitalization of the Fish Market and Fishing Port of Peruíbe, aiming to integrate sustainability, functionality, and cultural identity into a coastal urban space. The research analyzes the city's historical and urban context, the importance of artisanal fishing, and the sanitary standards that guide the requalification of the area. The methodology involved field surveys, bibliographic review, and comparative analysis of case studies, allowing an understanding of architectural approaches applied in similar contexts. The article seeks to demonstrate how the revitalization of such spaces can serve as a tool for cultural appreciation and sustainable urban development, reinforcing the social role of architecture in coastal territories.
