Lean Engineering: Applicazione dei Principi Lean alla Progettazione di Pompe Customizzate (Case Study Weir Gabbioneta)

Abstract

Questa tesi analizza l'applicazione della Lean Engineering all’interno di un contesto complesso e incerto, con particolare riferimento alla progettazione su commessa di pompe centrifughe API presso Weir Gabbioneta s.r.l. Il lavoro include: mappatura AS-IS, identificazione delle criticità nella fase di design, modellizzazione del flusso informativo, definizione dei KPI, creazione della Future State Map e proposta di strumenti di visual management. La ricerca mostra come i principi Lean – originariamente pensati per la produzione ripetitiva – possano essere applicati con successo ai processi di ingegneria variabile, riducendo lead time, attività non a valore e rischi di progetto.

L’elaborato approfondisce i principi del Value Stream Management, il dualismo produzione–ingegneria, la gestione delle commesse in contesti Engineering & Contracting, e definisce un modello di Lean Engineering applicabile a processi ad alta variabilità tecnica. La parte centrale del lavoro consiste in un caso industriale reale, completo di analisi AS-IS, VSM, criticità interne/esterne, definizione dei percorsi decisionali, coinvolgimento di fornitori, gestione documentale e introduzione di template per la standardizzazione e il controllo dell’avanzamento progettuale.
