D2.7 Preliminary LCA assessment

D2.7 Preliminary LCA assessment

Abstract

Deliverable 2.7, the first preliminary Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for the FIC-FIGHTERS project scheduled for M18, presents an initial evaluation of environmental impacts and highlights the primary environmental hotspots within the phosphogypsum valorization pathways. This early analysis establishes a baseline for more detailed scenario assessments and optimization measures in later stages of the project. The assessment will reach its completion by month 40, with the submission of Deliverable 2.8, which constitutes the full Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) report. Acknowledgements: This deliverable has been produced under the framework of the Horizon Europe project FIC-Fighters (Grant Agreement No. 101135157). The project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme. More information about the project can be found at https://fic-fighters.eu/.
