Eficacia de las Intervenciones Dietéticas en Atención Primaria Para la Prevención y Control del Síndrome Metabólico: Una Revisión Sistemática

Abstract

Antecedentes: El síndrome metabólico es un importante problema de salud pública por su relación con la diabetes tipo 2 y la enfermedad cardiovascular. Esta revisión sistemática evalúa la eficacia de las intervenciones dietéticas en atención primaria para prevenir o revertir el SM en adultos. Métodos: Se incluyeron estudios publicados entre 2000 y 2025, identificados en PubMed, Scopus y Web of Science, siguiendo la declaración PRISMA 2020. Se analizaron ensayos clínicos, estudios prospectivos y cuasiexperimentales con intervenciones dietéticas en atención primaria. La calidad metodológica se evaluó con RoB 2.0 y ROBINS-I. Resultados: Se seleccionaron 12 estudios con más de 22,000 participantes. Las intervenciones basadas en dieta mediterránea, con o sin ejercicio, mostraron mejoras en obesidad abdominal, lípidos y presión arterial. Conclusiones: Las intervenciones dietéticas en atención primaria, especialmente con dieta mediterránea, son eficaces para mejorar componentes del síndrome metabólico.
