TTI-HydroMet: A Decade of High-Resolution Rainfall and Streamflow for the Tamanduateí River Watershed, Brazil

Abstract

10 years of hydrometeorological data from the Tamanduateí River Watershed (TRW), São Paulo, Brazil, collected at 10-minute intervals. TTI-HydroMet_Dataset_version2 Codes Create_Radar_Input: written in Python. Model_v6_SP: written in Python. RadarDataMissingCode: written in Python. Stage_and_Gauge_data_Pre_Processing: written in Python. Data Radar: Dual Polarization S-band Doppler weather radar (SPOL); Quantitative precipitation estimation (QPE) is generated every 5 minutes during rain (operational mode); estimated rainfall is summed over 10-minute intervals. When it isn't raining, the SPOL radar runs every 15 minutes in surveillance mode. Source: São Paulo Flood Alert System (Sistema de Alerta a Inundações de São Paulo - SAISP). SHP: rainfall gauge stations (point), station 413 - stage (point), radar location (point) and coverage (polygon), Tamanduateí River (line), supplementary hydrography - tributaries (line), and Tamanduateí River Watershed (polygon). Coordinate Reference System (CRS): EPSG 31983 - SIRGAS 2000 / UTM zone 23S. Telemetric_Time_Series: raw rainfall and stage; collected at 10-minute intervals. Source: São Paulo Flood Alert System (Sistema de Alerta a Inundações de São Paulo - SAISP). RainGauges: rainfall and stage from 04/01/2015 to 03/29/2025; collected at 10-minute intervals.
