OpenFOAM input files to simulate viscoelastic fluid in porous media

Abstract

This dataset comprises some representative input files for OpenFOAM integrated with RheoTool to simulate viscoelastic fluids in three single constriction configurations (2D, 3D, and axisymmetric cases) and a face-centered cubic (FCC) packing as a realistic granular materials. These cases were used to compare viscoelastic effects in porous media against inelastic shear‑thinning behaviour modeled by the Carreau model.
