This essay explains how new or inexperienced club leaders can successfully recruit and retain members by using the five-step “SMART” process: Setting the Foundation, Marketing, Attracting Members, Reaching Out and Retaining, and Taking the Club to the Next Level. It argues that by following these structured steps—supported by research, real examples, and proven strategies—any student can build a thriving, long-lasting club. This essay is an essay I made for College Composition (ENG101) and earned a 98/105 (93%) for this writing.
