Abstract

La hidroponía es una técnica de producción que permite cultivar plantas sin utilizar suelo, empleando como medio materiales inertes o agua. Los nutrientes minerales esenciales se suministran a través del riego, asegurando el crecimiento y la productividad del cultivo. Esta práctica se adapta bien a espacios urbanos y semiurbanos, favoreciendo la producción familiar o a pequeña escala. La técnica se basa en la aplicación precisa de soluciones nutritivas que incluyen nutrientes mayores, secundarios y menores, todos indispensables para el desarrollo vegetal. Su implementación facilita un uso eficiente de recursos y permite obtener cultivos sanos en áreas con limitaciones de suelo.
