Abstract

Antecendentes: El plasmocitoma es una proliferación monoclonal de células plasmáticas que constituye del 3-5% de todas las neoplasias de células plasmáticas, con predilección por el género masculino y una alta progresión a mieloma múltiple. Se presenta el caso de una paciente femenina de 46 años de edad, que acude a valoración por el servicio de urgencias del Hospital UPAEP, Christus Muguerza, Puebla, por fractura de fémur proximal izquierdo, no asociada a traumatismo. Se realizan estudios de imagen, cirugía para estabilización de fractura y toma de biopsia. La valoración por histopatología e inmunohistoquímica concluyen neoplasia maligna de aspecto plasmocitoide positiva para CD-138, MUM-1 y cadenas ligeras kappa y Lambda. Reporte de caso: Se realizó recolección y analisis de notas clínicas, estudios de imagenología, resultados de laboratorio, biopsia e inmunohistoquímica de la paciente. Discusión: Se presenta caso de paciente femenina de 46 años de edad, la cual acude por fractura en terreno patológico en fémur proximal izquierdo. Se realizó abordaje específico para la atención de la fractura y estudios de extensión de imagenología, biopsia y laboratorios, concluyendo con neoplasia maligna de aspecto plasmocitoide positivo para CD-138, MUM-1 y cadenas ligeras kappa y lambda.
