
ABSTRACT Organizational effectiveness has long been a central concern of scholars and practitioners in management and public administration. It refers to the degree to which an organization achieves its objectives through optimal use of resources, alignment of internal processes, and adaptation to environmental demands. This paper synthesizes major theoretical approaches to organizational effectiveness, explores key determinants such as leadership, structure, culture, and technology, and reviews contemporary trends including digital transformation and sustainability. Drawing upon literature and comparative insights, the paper argues that organizational effectiveness is a multidimensional construct shaped by contextual, strategic, and behavioral factors. It concludes by outlining a framework for assessing effectiveness across sectors and suggests directions for future research.
