Geochemical Evolution and Mineral–Water Interaction Pathways in Qatar's Groundwater – Integrating Speciation, Saturation and Inverse Modelling Approaches

Abstract

The dataset consists of groundwater quality records from multiple sampling campaigns conducted across Qatar between 1998 and 2021. It contains 291 individual samples, each with major physicochemical parameters, pH, EC, TDS, and major ions, Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+, K+, HCO₃⁻, SO₄²⁻, Cl⁻, expressed in mg/L. It also includes the results (mineral saturation indices and speciation percentages) of the geochemical model runs conducted.
