Divino dueño mío: amor humano en un tono a lo divino de Lisboa. Entre la devoción y la diplomacia

Abstract

Este artículo estudia el tono Divino dueño mío copiado en una hoja del manuscrito P-Ln COD. 1235, procedente de un convento agustino de Lisboa y conservado en la Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal. El análisis del resto del manuscrito, unas pruebas de escritura en la hoja de guarda donde aparecen los nombres de Diego de Peñalosa y Ruy Gómez de Silva y una hagiografía traducida por un fraile de aquel convento, permite proponer una datación en torno a 1626. Esta fecha se enmarcaría en el contexto de una comunicación epistolar entre el convento portugués y la embajada española en Roma y a los esfuerzos de canonización del agustino Tomás de Villanueva. Se incluye la edición crítica del texto poético y de la música del tono que ejemplifica la transformación "a lo divino" de tópicos de la lírica amorosa profana e ilustra las prácticas devocionales y culturales del Portugal y España de la primera mitad del siglo XVII.
