
The literature of Mesopotamia represents the oldest literature known in the world in history regarding composition and recording. The oldest recording Sumerian literature texts referred to 2400 BC. It is very obvious that the literature texts of Mesopotamia were started to reach its brilliant time in the middle of third thousand BC , which means before recording it late third thousand and the beginning of the second thousand BC. This indicates that the literature of Mesopotamia is one of the oldest literature in the world. Since the discovery of the literature of Mesopotamia and its translations to many languages , the researchers realized that there is a great effects of this literature on the old world literature. Most of the studies which has made concentrated on the old Testament .Also diagnosis made for the effects of some Babylon literature in the Canaanites , Hittites, Greek , Persian and Indian. The study of literary influences of Mesopotamia is still going on. The current searching is just an attempt to focus on the heritage through two legends in two different literature which are ; First : The legend of Jesus and the Storm. The second is Darab legend in Shahname (Persian calendar).
