Abstract

Esta lámina ilustrada presenta 14 géneros representativos de microalgas de aguas continentales, abarcando diversos grupos taxonómicos como clorófitas, diatomeas, dinoflagelados y cianobacterias. El objetivo del material es servir como apoyo visual para la enseñanza, identificación morfológica básica y divulgación de la diversidad fitoplanctónica presente en ecosistemas de agua dulce. Las ilustraciones están basadas en referencias taxonómicas clásicas y observaciones microscópicas comunes en lagos, ríos, estanques y humedales.

This illustrated plate presents 14 representative genera of freshwater microalgae, covering diverse taxonomic groups including chlorophytes, diatoms, dinoflagellates, and cyanobacteria. The purpose of this material is to serve as a visual reference for teaching, basic morphological identification, and the dissemination of phytoplankton diversity found in continental aquatic ecosystems. The illustrations are based on classical taxonomic references and common microscopic observations from lakes, rivers, ponds, and wetlands.
