Abstract

Este En este artículo se analizan los cuatro largometrajes de ficción del director argentino de cine guerrilla Goyo Anchou: Safo (2003), Heterofobia (2015), El triunfo de Sodoma (2020) y ¡Homofobia! (2024) y se argumenta que su filmografía es un claro ejemplo de cine cuir. Con este propósito, se realiza un recorrido teórico por las distintas acepciones y teorizaciones del término cuir/queer y la consiguiente indagación en el cine cuir. Se propone que, si bien entre les teóriques existen pocos acuerdos sobre qué características se le pueden atribuir a este tipo de cine, distintos aspectos (como incluir personajes sexogenerico-disidentes, haber sido filmadas por realizadores cuir, demostrar una negativa a la asimilación a los regímenes hegemónicos) pueden acercar más o menos una película a un ideal de cine cuir. En este sentido, se asevera que la filmografía de Anchou cumple virtualmente con todos los requisitos para llegar a tal ideal. Se mencionan, por otra parte, las bases del cine guerrilla en su corriente latinoamericanista, con la figura de Fernando Birri a la cabeza, como influencias en la filmografía de Anchou; ideas que interaccionan con el cine cuir y nutren su potencial transformador.
