Automated Lock and Attendance System

Abstract

In today’s fast-paced world, digitalization is essential for managing access and tracking attendance. This project presents an IoT-based Automated Lock and Attendance System using ESP32, RFID (RC522), and Firebase for real-time monitoring. The system allows users to scan RFID cards to automatically record attendance and verify identity. Two web interfaces were developed—one for scheduling lectures and another for viewing real-time attendance reports. Data is stored on Firebase to ensure secure cloud-based access and monitoring. The system offers an affordable, efficient, and user-friendly solution suitable for educational institutions and workplaces.
