COLOQUIO.

Abstract

This doctoral thesis analyzes the transformations of parental models in the twenty-first century based on the interrelation between school and family violence. It examines how educational institutions and domestic environments construct new patterns of authority, affectivity, and discipline. Through qualitative and quantitative research, the study identifies sociocultural and psychological factors that influence parental practices. The results propose an innovative parental model that integrates emotional intelligence, resilience, and collaborative pedagogy to prevent violence and promote coexistence. This work contributes to educational psychology and family studies, offering practical implications for social policies and parenting programs.
