
This paper examines how Web 3.0 technologies can strengthen cultural identity within Ecuador’s intercultural bilingual education system. It analyzes the potential of decentralized and intelligent digital environments to promote indigenous language revitalization and foster meaningful learning experiences. Through a mixed research design, the study explores the relationship between technological use and cultural identity construction among adolescents, highlighting the importance of teacher training and equitable access to digital infrastructure.
Resumen Este artículo analiza cómo las tecnologías Web 3.0 pueden fortalecer la identidad cultural en el sistema de educación intercultural bilingüe del Ecuador. Se examina el potencial de los entornos digitales descentralizados e inteligentes para revitalizar las lenguas originarias y promover aprendizajes significativos. Mediante un enfoque mixto, se estudia la relación entre el uso tecnológico y la construcción de la identidad cultural adolescente, destacando la formación docente y la equidad digital como ejes transformadores.
