Giant bladder stones are very rare in modern urology. We report a case of a 52-year-old man, with a history of schizophrenia and diabetes who developed a very large bladder stone (80x95x121mm) (830 grams) secondary to a retained and encrusted ureteric stent inserted 12 years earlier. This report aims to bring forward an extremely rare case scenario which outlines the clinical approach and surgical management undertaken.
