This paper provides a synthesized vision of the different investigations of the author, Jean-Yves Boulay, concerning both a mathematical and physical ratio observed in different fields of study. This intriguing ratio is indeed found in number theory, quantum physics and biology, especially in the study of the genetic code and its different mechanisms and components. In the organization of whole numbers, decimal places of constants, but also of the structure of living matter, everywhere this is with a value ratio of 3/2. Here are presented just a few relevant samples from different studies by the author where this ratio is revealed. The ratio 3 to 2 appears in many studies from different fields. This universal ratio operates in the initial organization of whole numbers, in the order of the first appearance of the 10 digits in many mathematical constants, in the quantum structure of the 5 constituent elements of twenty proteinogenic canonical amino acids and in the numbering of these twenty amino acids. Here is just an overview of Jean-Yves Boulay’s investigations about this universal ratio.
