COLOQUIO.

Abstract

In light of the thought of Saint Augustine, a concept of educational love is developed. The hermeneutic-phenomenological method is used to characterize love in relation to education, both in personal experience and in teachers' practice. The work concludes by identifying elements that contribute to the development of cognitive, procedural, and attitudinal competencies that, rooted in love, enhance teaching practice.
