Abstract

La localización de eventos sísmicos es un proceso fundamental para determinar parámetros como profundidad, latitud y longitud, y para identificar posibles fuentes sismogénicas. Este estudio realiza una comparación entre las localizaciones obtenidas con los software HYPO71 y SEISAN para eventos registrados en el suroccidente colombiano durante 2013–2014. El análisis busca evaluar la consistencia y diferencias entre ambos métodos con el fin de mejorar la precisión de los parámetros hipocentrales y aportar al modelamiento del ángulo de subducción entre las placas Nazca y Suramericana , ángulo de subducción.
