APRAXIA DE FALA E TEA: DESAFIOS DIAGNÓSTICOS E TERAPÊUTICOS

Abstract

A pesquisa aborda a relação entre a Apraxia de Fala na Infância e o Transtorno do Espectro Autista, justificando sua relevância pela frequente sobreposição de sinais clínicos que dificulta diagnósticos precisos e retarda intervenções adequadas. O estudo tem como objetivo analisar os desafios do diagnóstico diferencial, explorar instrumentos especializados utilizados na avaliação clínica e discutir abordagens terapêuticas integradas que favoreçam o desenvolvimento comunicativo infantil. A metodologia consiste em revisão teórica e análise crítica de estudos que abordam critérios diagnósticos, instrumentos avaliativos e práticas terapêuticas interdisciplinares, destacando a atuação conjunta de fonoaudiólogos, psicopedagogos e outros profissionais. Os resultados evidenciam que a semelhança entre comportamentos como ausência de fala, inconsistências articulatórias e dificuldades de interação pode levar a erros diagnósticos, mas mostram também avanços proporcionados por protocolos especializados, tecnologias de Comunicação Aumentativa e Alternativa e intervenções personalizadas. Conclui-se que a integração de avaliações multidimensionais, o fortalecimento da prática interdisciplinar e a participação ativa da família são fundamentais para melhorar a precisão diagnóstica e a eficácia terapêutica, promovendo uma comunicação mais funcional e uma inclusão social ampliada.
