Procesamiento de imágenes médicas mediante conjuntos neutrosóficos.

Abstract

El procesamiento de imágenes médicas constituye un área crítica para el diagnóstico, donde la incertidumbre y la ambigüedad inherentes a los datos biomédicos limitan la efectividad de los métodos convencionales. En este contexto, la teoría neutrosófica ha emergido como un marco matemático robusto para el manejo explícito de información imprecisa. Este artículo de revisión presenta un análisis del estado del arte en procesamiento de imágenes médicas mediante conjuntos neutrosóficos, abarcando sus fundamentos teóricos, las principales técnicas de preprocesamiento, segmentación y extracción de características, y su integración con modelos de inteligencia artificial y aprendizaje profundo. Asimismo, se examinan comparativamente sus ventajas frente a los métodos clásicos basados en lógica difusa, así como sus limitaciones actuales relacionadas con la escalabilidad, la automatización y la integración en flujos clínicos digitales. Finalmente, se discuten los retos y oportunidades futuras, destacando el potencial de la neutrosofía híbrida y explicable como herramienta clave para el desarrollo de sistemas médicos más precisos, interpretables y confiables en la medicina de precisión contemporánea.
