SolarHub D5.2: Updated Data Management Plan

Authors: ODTÜ-GÜNAM;

SolarHub D5.2: Updated Data Management Plan

Abstract

D5.2 is an update to SolarHub’s D5.1 Initial Data Management Plan (DMP) submitted to the EC on 19 May 2023 and accepted by the EC on 24 Sept. 2024. The first step in the process to update SolarHub’s Initial DMP was to benchmark SolarHub’s Initial DMP and Data Management (DM) activities against those of other Excellence Hubs (EH) projects funded under the same call that closed in March 2022, where this benchmarking process is presented in Section 5.1. Relative to the identified Benchmark Initial DMPs, SolarHub’s Initial DMP contained not only all the sections as the other Initial DMPs that are found in EU DMP Template, but also contains additional sections and content giving broader context for the DM activities (e.g., see Chapter 2). Additionally, SolarHub has 3 DMP Deliverables (D5.1-D5.3), which is more than that for all but 1 of the other benchmark EH projects. Finally, the Dissemination level of SolarHub’s DMPs are all Public to support Open Science, while that for most other EH projects appears to be Sensitive. Based on this benchmarking, SolarHub’s series of DMP Deliverables is self-assessed to be above average both in terms of content, and also in terms of number and Dissemination level of Deliverables reporting DM activities.
