Abstract

Este texto analiza la forma de hablar de los Polizones Bonaverenses en Buenaventura, resaltando que su lenguaje refleja una interacción compleja de factores psicosociológicos, pedagógicos, gubernamentales y semióticos. La comunidad desarrolla una variedad bilingüe en la que mezclan el español dialectal de Buenaventura con elementos del inglés norteamericano negro no estándar y polizonismos, creando un habla distintiva. Desde el análisis semiótico, se observa que estos individuos exhiben rasgos externos que los diferencian, como prendas de vestir, accesorios, cortes de cabello, música, amuletos y números con influencia afronorteamericana. Además, el enfoque psicosociolingüístico revela que estas variaciones lingüísticas emergen como resultado de procesos de identidad, socialización y procesos educativos, dando lugar a formas de comunicación como el pidgin y un spanglish atípico en Colombia. El estudio muestra cómo estos jóvenes reflejan una identidad diferenciada tanto en su apariencia como en su habla, que manifiestan a través de una mezcla de lenguas y estilos culturales, evidenciando fenómenos lingüísticos únicos en el contexto colombiano y especialmente en Buenaventura.
