Integrative Theoretical System Studies (ITSS): Methodological Overview and Research Program

Abstract

Integrative Theoretical System Studies (ITSS): Methodological Overview and Research Program introduces a unified meta-framework for analyzing the evolution of moral, cultural, and ideological systems. Developed within the Aletheia Institute for Integrative Theoretical System Studies (AIITSS), ITSS establishes a tri-axial architecture—the BSI (Biology → Sociology → Ideology), DTS (Dhamma → Theism → Secularism), and IMS (Inversion → Metastasis → Sublimation) axes—that together describe the structural, superstructural, and meta-law dimensions of systemic transformation. The paper outlines ITSS as both a methodological and epistemological program capable of bridging philosophy, sociology, cognitive theory, and cultural analysis. It situates the model in dialogue with classical system theory and dialectical materialism while extending them through a transcendental law of transformation that governs both matter and meaning. ITSS provides scholars with a conceptual toolkit for tracing ideological evolution, identifying recursive distortions, and integrating empirical and metaphysical insights into a coherent research paradigm. Keywords: Integrative Theoretical System Studies, IMS, DTS, BSI, meta-law, system theory, ideology, transformation, sociology of ideas, cultural evolution.
