Kinesiotherapy is defined as therapy through movement, employed by Physiotherapy, based on knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics, to promote functional recovery, prevent motor impairments, and optimize the individual's general state of health and well-being. The practice generates a positive impact on community health, serving as an opportunity for social integration and health promotion. From an academic perspective, the extension context allows Physiotherapy students to develop essential competencies such as planning, communication, and social responsibility, in addition to connecting theory with practice and systematizing knowledge. By working on the project, the student develops an active commitment to society. This work aims to present the UNIFANOR SAUDÁVEL project, an extension initiative that uses the benefits of kinesiotherapy to promote the health of its patients and collaborators, reinforcing the student's role as a health educator and the institution's commitment to the community.
