This study proposes an Integrated Assessment Model (IAM) for Angola, aiming to support technological, economic, energy, and environmental policies through a multisectoral analysis of the productive sectors, transportation, energy, waste, agriculture, and land use. Based on the BLUES and COFFEE models and implemented using the MESSAGE framework, the IAM adopts a bottom-up approach with partial equilibrium and a time horizon extending to 2060. Considering five regions of Angola, the model aligns the country’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) with the Paris Agreement, promoting low-carbon strategies, reforestation, and CO2 capture, thereby contributing to the decarbonization and sustainability of the energy sector.
