Caracterización del pensamiento histórico en estudiantes de primer año de Pedagogía en Historia en una universidad del sur de Chile

Abstract

El pensamiento histórico, ampliamente abordado en la historiografía y la didáctica de la Historia, constituye un constructo que vincula la Historia como Ciencia y su enseñanza. Esta investigación, realizada en una universidad del sur de Chile, buscó caracterizar su desarrollo en estudiantes de primer año de Pedagogía en Historia. Se utilizó un enfoque cualitativo con diseño de estudio de caso intrínseco y un instrumento basado en las dimensiones de Seixas y Morton (2013) y Duquette (2015). Los datos se analizaron narrativamente a partir de un cuestionario de cinco preguntas abiertas aplicado a 72 estudiantes de las cohortes 2023 y 2024. Los resultados muestran bajos niveles de logro en evidencia histórica (13,4%) y ética (12%), mientras que perspectiva histórica alcanzó un 76%. La cohorte 2024 superó a la 2023. Los hallazgos evidencian brechas en la formación inicial docente y la necesidad de fortalecer el pensamiento histórico en la universidad y la educación escolar.
