The Database of Philippine Works in Translation, 2025 The Database of Philippine Works in Translation is a growing bibliographic resource that catalogs Philippine literature translated into English and other foreign languages compiled and maintained by Anthony John Balisi since 2018. It covers all types of works, not limited to literary texts, that have been translated into a foreign language. The database also includes publications about the Philippines released abroad, as well as works by non-Filipino authors. However, titles originally published in English in the Philippines and later released as international English editions are not included. This database contains published Philippine works translated into foreign languages, mainly from the post-World War II period onwards. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list, but more of a work-in-progress. Feel free to email us at PHtranslationdatabase@gmail.com if you want to request access to the database and to offer an addition or correction to the list.
