The subject of the study is logistics as a business tool in the national economy. The purpose of the study is to investigate the role and significance of logistics as a tool for the effective functioning of business and its impact on the development of the national economy.Research methods. The article uses the dialectical method of scientific knowledge, the method of analysis and synthesis, the comparative method, and the method of data generalization.Results of the work. The article considers the significance of logistics as a strategic business tool, its impact on the competitiveness of the national economy and the prospects for the development of logistics infrastructure in Ukraine. The main aspects of the significance of logistics in the national economy are presented. The development of logistics infrastructure is proposed as a priority for the development of logistics in the context of the national economy.Conclusions. Logistics plays a key role in increasing the competitiveness of both individual enterprises and the national economy as a whole. Effective logistics contributes to cost optimization, improving the quality of customer service, and accelerating the turnover of goods. The development of logistics infrastructure and the introduction of modern logistics technologies are important factors of economic growth. State support and regulation of the logistics industry contribute to its effective functioning and integration into global supply chains. In the context of globalization and integration of Ukraine into the world economy, the development of logistics is becoming a strategically important task for ensuring sustainable economic development. State support of the logistics industry, including the simplification of customs procedures, harmonization of legislation with international standards and support for innovation, contributes to attracting investments, developing competition and increasing the efficiency of logistics services. The development of modern transport infrastructure, including roads, railways, ports and airports, is a necessary condition for effective logistics. Investments in infrastructure stimulate economic growth, create new jobs and improve the connectivity of regions.
