
The Global Essential Urban Land Use Categories (EULUC-Globe) product provides parcel-level, fine-grained land use category maps for global urban areas in 2024. The product is generated using multisource geospatial data (e.g., Sentinel-1/2 imagery and worldwide POI data) combined with an advanced multimodal deep learning framework. The overall accuracy of the product reaches 75.87%, validated with over 15,000 globally distributed samples. The land use parcels are segmented by continent and organized into six GPKG files. The classification system and the corresponding category codes used in the uploaded dataset are listed below.
