"EasySat Indicators" is a web app developed in R shiny, that helps non-expert users work with satellite data stored in NetCDF format, following the CF standard. It simplifies the process of calculating environmental indicators and exporting results in user-friendly formats. "EasySat Indicators" outputs can be utilised for various applications, either directly or as inputs in other developed GES4SEAS tools, namely in Tikta, for the assessment of the ecological status of marine waters, e.g. within the European Water Framework Directive (WFD) or the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD)”. "EasySat Indicators" offers two types of calculations: Pixel-based statistics to generate indicator maps. (see demo videos above) Location-based statistics (e.g., monitoring stations, or areas). (see demo video below) The available statistic metrics include mean, minima, maxima, count, standard deviation, median, 90th percentile (e.g. to be used in assessing the status under the WFD), and the Mann-Kendall trend's tau value. In all cases NA values are discarded. Results can be downloaded as GeoTIFF and CSV files for further analysis in Excel, GIS and in other tools developed by GES4SEAS. "EasySat Indicators" has been developed within the Horizon Europe project GES4SEAS (Grant Agreement 101059877)
