COMPARATIVE DIAGNOSTICS OF THE METHOD OF CLOSING THE TOOTH SOCKET USING A FRAGMENT OF THE EXTRACTED TOOTH AND RESTORING THE SOCKET UNDER A BLOOD CLOT IN PATIENTS AFTER TOOTH EXTRACTION TEETH

Abstract

In this article, 48 primary patients aged 25–45 who presented to the Departments of Oral Surgery, Dental Implantology, and Maxillofacial Surgery at Samarkand State Medical University were divided into two groups. The first (experimental) group—managed with the technique of preserving alveolar bone volume using extracted tooth fragments in combination with an osteoplastic material—was compared with sockets allowed to heal by “blood clot” alone, as well as with a third cohort in which osteoplastic materials were used after extraction. From 2022 to 2025, research aimed at maintaining alveolar bone volume was conducted within the “Oral Surgery and Dental Implantology” departments of Samarkand State Medical University. In this study, 41 patients underwent surgery. Key words: tooth extraction, use of tooth piece, bone atrophy, bone tissue atrophy, tooth socket.
