The Hawkwood BioAtlas is an interactive, D3.js-based visualization that maps the landscape of industrial biotechnology products across industries, molecule types, and producers. Built on a structured taxonomy, it allows users to explore each molecule’s classification and see which companies are making it. Designed as a public resource, the map highlights the breadth of bio-based innovation and the growing ecosystem of industrial biotechnology. This archive contains a static snapshot of the BioAtlas visualization, originally published at https://hawkwoodbiotech.github.io/Bio-Atlas/. The visualization is built with D3.js and represents the synthetic biology ecosystem taxonomy. This DOI ensures a permanent, citable version of the site as it appeared at time of upload.
