Abstract

El presente estudio analizó la producción científica sobre la relación entre gestión ambiental y salud pública mediante un análisis bibliométrico en Scopus. Los resultados evidenciaron un crecimiento exponencial en publicaciones desde 1965, con predominio de artículos en revistas especializadas. Se identificó a China, Estados Unidos y Reino Unido como países líderes, y a la Academia China de Ciencias y agencias chinas de financiamiento como actores claves. Las disciplinas con mayor producción fueron ciencias ambientales, medicina e ingeniería, abordando temas como contaminación y salud ocupacional. El mapeo de la literatura mediante softwares bibliométricos permitió analizar redes de colaboración, evolución temporal y estructuras conceptuales. Se concluye que la integración entre gestión ambiental y salud pública es una tendencia creciente, por lo que se necesitan más investigaciones para fundamentar políticas efectivas en esta materia. Este estudio constituye una aproximación al campo, por lo que se requieren análisis complementarios con otras fuentes de información.
