The use of non-pathogenic Fusarium strains as biofertilizers and biocontrol agents represents a promising and sustainable alternative to conventional agricultural practices. In this context, we present a draft genome of Fusarium sp. TZ1MST22, a non-pathogenic endophytic strain isolated from Medicago sativa plants collected in an oasis in southern Tunisia. Whole-genome sequencing of the strain yielded a 39.76 Mb assembly comprising 160 contigs longer than 500 bp. Based on comprehensive metrics from FASTQC and QUAST, the resulting genome assembly was determined to be of high quality.
