POLICY BRIEF - AI Your Way: Trusted Scalable and Ready to Deliver

Abstract

This policy brief captures the key insights and recommendations from the workshop AI, Your Way: Trusted, Scalable, and Ready to Deliver, held at the AI, Data, and Robotics Forum (ADRF) 2025. The session brought together experts from five Horizon Europe projects — THEMIS 5.0, TANGO, AI4RealNet, PEER AI, and HumAIne — to explore how Europe can turn research on trustworthy and human-centric AI into real-world impact. The brief highlights how these projects collectively advance Europe’s goals for resilience, competitiveness, and technological sovereignty by: Embedding trustworthiness and transparency throughout the AI lifecycle, Strengthening human–AI collaboration for critical infrastructures, industry, and policymaking, and Aligning AI innovation with EU values and regulatory frameworks, including the AI Act. Each featured project showcases a distinct contribution, from THEMIS 5.0’s trustworthiness assessment framework to TANGO’s hybrid human-AI decision-making models, AI4RealNet’s safety mechanisms for critical networks, PEER AI’s collaborative assistants for cities and industry, and HumAIne’s unified AI architecture. Together, they illustrate a new European approach to AI development: responsible, interoperable, and ready to deliver.
