The geometry of aggregate snowflakes: Aggregation modeling, super-particles, and discrete dipole approximation

Abstract

Source code and model output for the paper "On the geometry of aggregate snowflakes" aggregation.tar.gz contains data/db.pd120e-6.pdmf50.nc: netcdf file with the model output of the aggregation model, i.e., database of aggregate snowflakes NCL/aggregates_pd120mf50.ncl: NCL script for aggregates of a single monomer habit including 50/50 mixtures. Figures 1, 2, 8, and 9. NCL/aggregates_mixed_pd120mf50.ncl: NCL script for aggregate mixtures. Figures 5, 6, and 7. mcsnow_source.tar.gz contains the McSnow source code used in section 4.2 mcsnow_data.tar.gz contains the McSnow output discussed in section 4.2 mcradar_database.tar.gz for section 5.
