D4.2 Digital twin resources specification document

Abstract

This report summarizes the digital resources needed to support the scientific and technical components of the Digital Twin Demonstrator Use Cases (DUCs). These resources are divided into three major types - data, analytical processes, and databases. The specifications are the result of the implementation work following the conceptual design of the DUCs provided in D4.1, “Description of demonstration use cases”. The present document provides an overview of available and missing digital resources, which must still be developed or made accessible. Thereby, the document describes the technical status of each of the eight DUCs regarding their maturity and level of integration into the Digital Twin Ocean (DTO) infrastructure. Most importantly, this document provides the technical references to guide Work Package 5 in the implementation of the DUCs within the DTO environment.
